PHP is an intensive day-treatment program where individuals attend treatment during the day and live at home or a structured housing program in the evenings.
Our IOP is a step down to our PHP program. In this program individuals partake in a minimum of nine hours of treatment per week, while living from home or a structured housing program.
Our outpatient mental health programs allow individuals to partake in individual and group therapy once per week. This program is utilized as a stepdown form or care from our PHP or IOP program.
At New Mind Wellness, we provide a seamless, supportive experience from day one. Our PHP and IOP programs offer the perfect balance of clinical treatment and personal freedom, with clients spending several hours in therapy before returning home or to a supportive living environment. This approach allows for intensive care while maintaining vital family and community connections. We treat the whole person, integrating physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being through therapies like CBT, mindfulness, and fitness. Our programs cater to adults and adolescents facing various mental health challenges.
When depression hits, it affects all facets of life. Our depression treatment programs can help turn your life around.
Anxiety can significantly impact daily life in various ways, including mentally, emotionally, and physically.
Bipolar Disorder is characterized by extreme mood swings, including emotional highs and lows.
Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder involves persistent, unwanted thoughts and repetitive behaviors.
PTSD or Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder significantly impacts daily life with intrusive memories, avoidance, and more.
Schizophrenia is a severe mental illness that disrupts an individual’s sense of reality, causing symptoms such as hallucinations and delusions.
Most people who suffer from mental illness can often face stigma from family, friends, colleagues, and even the way they view themselves. While 1 in 5 adults in the United States lives with a mental health condition, there are many who are afraid to openly talk about their mental disorder, and even more that don’t receive proper treatment for it.
Mental Health is often stigmatized because of the lack of understanding of mental health disorders and what it’s like to live with the condition. At New Mind Wellness, we work tirelessly to educate our clients, families, and loved ones that mental illness is a brain disorder and must be treated professionally. Here’s what else we do to combat this stigma:
With a non-judgmental approach, we assure our treatment is kept confidential but encourage open conversations around mental illness and disorders to help normalize receiving help for mental illness.
When a client admits with us, they’re treated with compassion, empathy, and the utmost respect no matter their gender, religion, financial status, diagnosis, or sexual identity. We understand that there are many factors that contribute to mental illness and only empower our clients.
We believe that mental health disorders rely on those that can either worsen mental illness or contribute to recovery. We help families understand and learn how to support their loved ones.
When you’re struggling with mental illness, it’s important to remember that you’re not alone. Many of our own staff members are in recovery and have been where you are. We share our stories to help you find community, connection, and foster hope.
When someone experiences trauma, they may try to repress it, exacerbating mental illness. At New Mind Wellness, we acknowledge that each client is a trauma survivor and utilize a trauma-informed treatment approach.
