Frequently Asked Questions

Many people have the same questions related to what a treatment program for mental health disorders will be like. We have compiled a list of FAQ to help you better understand how our program works.

What Levels of Care Do You Offer at New Mind Wellness?

We provide outpatient care with three levels of care. An initial assessment with our admissions team will determine which program will suit your specific needs. The types of programs we provide include:

Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): This takes place Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Intensive Outpatient Program: This provides several therapy sessions per week for eight to twelve weeks.

Outpatient Rehab: Our lowest level of care requires attending one or two therapy sessions per week.

How Do I Pay For Treatment?

We offer a free insurance verification to see if your policy covers treatment with us. We can determine what, if any, co-pay will be your responsibility. For those without insurance, we have options for private pay to aid you in getting the help you need.

What Types of Disorders Do You Treat?

We treat a variety of types of mental health disorders, including:

What if Myself or My Loved One is Suicidal?

If you or a loved one feel suicidal or have another type of mental health crisis, get immediate help. Call 911 or your local emergency department. You can also call the 988 hotline. They provide free, confidential help for those in mental health crisis 24/7.

Can I Force A Loved One Into Treatment?

We are an at-will facility, which means we only accept patients coming here on a voluntary basis. While some laws mandate a person be held for 72 hours, this is used more with residential treatment.

How Does Outpatient Mental Health Treatment Work?

Outpatient mental healthcare does not require a person to move into a facility. Instead, our clients commute to us for their therapy sessions. This allows them to still take care of responsibilities in their personal lives and live in their own homes.

Can I Get Help 24/7?

Yes. Our team of dedicated admissions team members are available 24/7 to help you, no matter the time of day.

Can I Have My Phone While In Treatment?

Yes. We allow people to bring their cell phones. We ask that they not be used in a way that distracts the individual or others from their therapy sessions.
