Completing our Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP) is an important milestone, but it’s not the end of your recovery journey. At New Mind Wellness in Philadelphia, we believe lasting progress comes from continued care and support. That’s why we guide people into the next level of treatment that matches their needs, helping them stay connected to resources and community.
After PHP, many people step down to our intensive outpatient program (IOP) or traditional outpatient therapy. These options provide structure and accountability while giving you more flexibility in your daily life. We also offer alumni support groups and ongoing access to therapeutic services, so you can continue practicing the skills you’ve learned and maintain the progress you’ve made.
Research shows that ongoing care after structured programs significantly reduces relapse risk and improves long‑term outcomes. The National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIDA) emphasizes that recovery is a process, not a single event. Continuing treatment, whether through outpatient care, peer support, or therapy, helps people sustain improvements in mental health and substance use.
At New Mind Wellness, our goal is to make sure you never feel alone after PHP. Whether you’re transitioning into IOP, joining alumni groups, or continuing therapy sessions, you’ll have a supportive team walking with you every step of the way.
